What Happens Here: Elite martial arts skills and philosophy are taught in a dynamic, fun, yet disciplined way. We adhere to the ancient Bushido (Way of the Warrior) code and observe rules and requirements that further a student's understanding of the martial arts. We instruct men, women, and children five years and older. The teachings include instruction in Chinese Kenpo Karate, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu , Tai Chi Chaun, Aikido, and Wrestling . We also practice ancient weapons of staff, short stick, sword, knife, tiger fork and the like. In addition to the martial arts, we offer the equally important healing arts of Yoga, Total Body Modification and Natural Healing. The complement of martial arts and the healing arts provide the yin / yang dynamic that helps a student to maximize his / her potential as a human being.

| What Does Not Happen Here: This is not a health club, baby sitting service, or commercially operated school interested in profit. This second school is our way to give back to the community for the bounty we enjoy. Therefore, you will find our environment stimulating and quite unusual from any other type of "service" you purchase. It will be a positive interaction. About Chinese Kenpo Karate , This art has roots that go back to China 1400 years ago and is the art form which most other martial arts stem. It was developed from five basic animal forms taught by an Indian monk named Tamo. The monks practiced to strengthen themselves to withstand the rigors of life and to protect themselves from outside invaders. They soon became famous throughout China for their skills and courage. Our art was originally known in China as Chaun Fa. |

It eventually spread to Japan where it was known as Kenpo, which means fist (Ken) law (po). It was first introduced to United States in Hawaii around the time of World War II. The art of Kenpo soon became very popular in the United States as one of the most effective systems known. We continue to refine our art to enable us to offer our students the most effective self-defense system available - one which strengthens those qualities that are so important to surviving today's world: self-confidence, self discipline and unity between a clear, calm mind and a healthy, strong body. |
